Interlibrary Loan

If the University Library system (Alkek Library, RRC Library Services, Music Library) does not own the item you need, Interlibrary Loan (ILL) will attempt to borrow a copy for you from another library. You must use the ILLiad system to submit a request.

Delivery Location

  • Make sure your profile in ILLiad indicates "RRHEC" as the delivery location.
  • Pick up and return items in Library Services, Avery Building, Room 255 B. You will be notified once an item arrives at RRC Library Services.
  • Electronic delivery is possible for some articles. The ILLiad system will notify you of this occurance.

Prior to submitting an ILL (ILLiad) request, verify that the libraries at Texas State University-San Marcos do not own the item by using:
